About the founder, Keith Warner


Warners founder, Keith Warner MSc (MCSP) initially trained at Leeds University and then after 5 years as an NHS and Hull Kingston Rovers Physio, moved to The Football Association (The FA) Rehabilitation Centre at Lilleshall. Here Keith managed injuries and fitness of some of the worlds sporting superstars.  Following his time at Lilleshall, Keith went on to complete an unparalleled two decades with Hull FCGreat Britain Rugby League and Hull City FC as well as managing sports medicine for all age groups at GB Ice Hockey.

Other notable posts include tours with the World XI Cricket TeamWorld Championship Boxers and caring for numerous performing arts professionals as well as being the Lead Clinician at the 1991 World Student Games in Sheffield.

Being more than a Physio, Keith reports his most prolific achievement has been as Clinical Director for over 20 years for Smith & Nephew Health Care, developing strategy from research and development to field sales policies in many aspects of sports medicine and orthopaedics.

Keith specialism is in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with advanced understanding in the kneeshoulder, and the use of exercise to aid recovery. Keith also has extensive experience in Sports Science and Biomechanics culminating in his Master’s Degree in Sport and Exercise Science in the 1990s.

Keith would like to see his expertise in the evidence-based use in exercise in the wider medical community most notably in the treatment of Mental Health, the Elderly and the recovery from Cancer.
